Lesson 30 (Monday October 21, 2013) Question 1 of 4

Various set of customers can be segmented based on the different needs and attributes to ensure appropriate implementation of corporate strategy meets the characteristics of selected group of clients.  Do you agree?  If yes, why?  If no, why not?

  1. Yes through various advertising stratagems and planting ideas of our product through certain group of people. We need to segment our customers to married adults with children even though the shoes are for children as the adults are the ones that purchase the shoes.

    Yes we agree because specific people need/want specifics things and as a result, different strategies need to be appropriately implemented to meet each of their needs. For example, there are different types of shampoos to meet different types of consumers.

  3. Yes because segmenting customers based on their different needs and attributes will help the company to sell their product to a wider range of customers and it satisfies everyone.

    Yes, we agree because in order for the customer to be satisfied with the product, the product must be able to meet their needs. If the customers aren't satisfied with their product, they wouldn't buy, it which would cause the company to go bankrupt. Also, the company would've been wasting time developing things that wouldn't sell.
