Lesson 32 (Thursday October 24, 2013) Question 1 of 3
"It is an attempt to extract customer loyalty by setting the appropriate expectations about a solution and ensuring that those expectations are consistently confirmed at high levels." How would you ensure that your customers' expectations are consistently confirmed at high levels?
We would achieve this by making realistic claims about our product, so as not to raise the customer's expectations higher than it should be.

To confirm our customers' expectation we need to gather all the information from our customers, like asking them questions about their expectation. We can use the information to try our best to improve our product to meet the customers' expectation.
ReplyDeleteWe can achieve this by having slow burning candles (so that they last long) and possibly even throwing in extras so that they can easily replace the candles that run out. we can also make our designs flawless, and make our product completely recycled so that our customers feel that in buying our product, they're achieving something instead of buying a product that's non eco-friendly.
ReplyDeleteWe would ensure that our customers’ expectations are consistently confirmed at high levels by developing ways to test and evaluate the candle’s quality so the customer’s expectations are consistently met. We would pick a random candle from the batch and test its wick, scent, and evaluate.

ReplyDeleteWe would ensure that our customer's expectations are consistently confirmed at high levels by hand-picking the materials used for our product like the coconut shells, and confirming the quality of each component before putting them together. Each shell would be thoroughly checked for its smoothness, aroma (from the varnish), durability, and appearance (after the varnish). We could also vary the design etched onto the shells to keep it up to date, or simply make it costumizable to please each costumers expectation.
