Is it possible for Builder DNA to help people to perform to their extremely high expectations? If not, why? If so, why and what are the possible solutions that Builder DNA can adopt to achieve this?
Sothun, Zach, Ain, Boah No. They have to realize that they're expectations are unreasonable. They have to come to an agreement with the employee to have more realistic expectations.
David, Alyssa, SuIn Builders have extremely high expectations unparalleled to any but themselves. However, it is possible for them through means of exerting themselves to their best ability to express their expectations.
Communicating their high expectations is but only one part of the solution. Connecting with others to come to a mutually agreeable level of expectation is the other part of the solution to helping others meet their expectations.
David Suh and Calli Ohlin It is possible for someone with builder DNA to help people perform to their extremely high expectations. This can be accomplished by better expressing their expectations to their employees, and by making sure that they are not surrounded by “yes” men or women (because they may say yes to something, but not actually do it).
Lesley, Joon, William Yes, it is possible for Builder DNA to help people perform to their extremely high expectations, byu just simply telling people what kind of expectations you require and if they are still struggling you could help them out. But if they can’t meet your high expectations you might as well fire them.
Well said, your statement could be true to many managers with Builder DNA! The key to successful leadership and management is by means of recruiting the right people for the task so that they can be at their strengths zone while being outside their comfort zone trying to meet the Builder's high expectation. Communicating their expectation and coming to a mutually acceptable level of expectation are also critical for successfully bringing others to meet their expectations.
