Lesson 10 (August 26, 2013, Monday) Question 1 of 1

Do you think it is a good idea for the Innovator entrepreneur to cut deal with dealers/distributors/resellers with the hope that they will do the marketing and selling for them? If so, why? If not, why?

  1. Yes. Innovators are weak at marketing and selling the product, so if other dealers/sellers do those things for them, the business will be successful. Those things would just stress out the innovators.

  2. Yes. Innovators' weaknesses are marketing. It would be like a living hell for innovators to be the one to go around trying to sell their product, so it would be wiser for them to make a deal with distributors. This way, the resellers and distributors would basically sell and market the innovators' product for them.

  3. Yes I think it's good idea for the Innovator entrepreneur to cut deal with dealers/distributors/resellers that they will do the marketing and selling because Innovators hired to be in charge of marketing and selling since they're weak in this area.
