    1. The Opportunist are great salespersons for selling products/services that are already known or branded. Builders are great salespersons for selling the company and its products/services because they are the mastermind behind the winning strategy of the business. People buy from Opportunist because of the product/service. People buy from Builders because of the Builders themselves, not the product/service.

No, because builders like to have other people working under them doing the sales part of the process.

    1. Once the product/service is in place, the Opportunist will be the right person to sell. However, at the start-up phase, the Builder will sell the product/services based on the fact that customers will buy from the Builder because of their trust in the Builder themselves and not the product/service. Customers are aware that if the product/service fails to meet their expectations, the Builder will be responsible and trustworthy to solve the problem(s).

No, because being a great salesperson is not part of the builder DNA; it is part of the opportunist DNA.

No because builders are experts at building businesses rather than being a salesperson. They tend to let people do their work for them when it comes to sales.

      Builders are great salespersons:-
      - at the start-up phase or
      - in the selling of NEW products/services in existing markets or
      - in the selling of existing products/services in NEW markets.

    1. Well said. However, at the start-up phase or at the introduction of new products/services in an existing market or introduction of existing products/services in a new market, Builders uses the trustworthiness and responsible mindset that others have in them to sell their products/services.
