People buy from Opportunist because of the product/service. People buy from Builders because of the Builders themselves, not the product/service.
Once the product/service is in place, the Opportunist will be the right person to sell. However, at the start-up phase, the Builder will sell the product/services based on the fact that customers will buy from the Builder because of their trust in the Builder themselves and not the product/service. Customers are aware that if the product/service fails to meet their expectations, the Builder will be responsible and trustworthy to solve the problem(s).
